Let's start the week off right, with your monthly MDG newsletter, shall we? May your coffee be strong, your hearts happy, and your fabric stash overflowing on this Monday morning. Here's your daily reminder that even if your week hasn't started out great, you have 6 more days to turn it around! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ October days, are some of my favorite days here in Holmes County. The leaves are starting to change colors, and if you haven't seen Amish Country in the fall-let me just tell you that it's a sight to behold. Fun fact: Holmes County was voted 3rd in National Geographic's top ten places to see Autumn leaves GLOBALLY. And not only is the scenery beautiful, but October also means that here at Miller's Dry Goods, along with the rest of Charm, we're preparing for our Charm Merchant Days. This year it will be held on October 12th & 13th. During these two days, thousands of people come to our tiny little town for live bluegrass music, volleyball tournaments, sales, prize drawings, an auction, a wooly worm race, and horseback games. There will also be benefit lunches, bake sales, and other food vendors. Proceeds from Saturday's auction and other events are added to the Charm Share N' Care Fund which goes towards helping local families/individuals in need. For more information, visit Charm's website. P.S.- Miller's will be offering 20% off storewide* during Charm Days *10% off handmade items and quilts (In-store only)
So come on out and experience Charm Days and take in the beautiful scenery while you're at it!
We've got some more exciting news! We're in the process of creating a new website! YAY! We can't wait to share it with you and for you to see it for yourselves. We think you'll love it, just as much as we do. What this means is that our newsletter is going to be downsized this month and it also means, for right now, because we are in a transition period and are busy trying to move products over to the new site, some of the new products featured in this month's newsletter may not be available online at this time. BUT, have no fear! We are still taking phone orders or email orders,so if there's a fabric, notion or pattern in this newsletter that you want to order, but it's not online, that DOES NOT mean that you can't order it. Simply shoot us an email (email@example.com) or give us a call (330.893.9899) and we'll be happy to send it to you.
Our goal is to provide you with excellent customer service, always. We appreciate your patience with us as we make this transition.
Because many of you do shop online or simply can't make it to our store- this month we thought we'd showcase some of our in-store displays and kits that you may not see online.
CORK FABRIC Our cork fabric is a product that we only carry in-store. Sewers love to use it to make purses and wallets. As you can see in the pictures, we've experimented with quite a few different styles of purses and wallets, and we've even made cellphone cases using cork. The prints and colors that we have at any given time can vary, which is why we chose to only have it available in store. However, if you'd like to place a phone order, we'd be happy to help you. Size: 18" x 26/27" Price: $24.95 Size: 12" x 9" Price: $9.98
The Double Wide Dresden Plate We demoed the Double Wide Dresden Plate Ruler at our Gathering Stitches event in September. While the ruler, pattern, and book ARE available online, some of you may not have seen our sample quilts that we created using the double wide Dresden ruler. The double wide design gives a modern twist to the original Dresden Plate. Take a look at the little lady bug picnic blanket (pattern can be found in the Double Wide Dresden Book)- how cute is that!
Pre-cuts Another change we've made recently at the store, is our Pre-cut display. Naomi does a wonderful job of rearranging and finding new ways to display ideas and products throughout the shop- and this little nook is no exception. Our jellyrolls, layer cakes, and charm packs are now easier to see and find, thanks to these little white cubicles. We do have our pre-cuts available online; the majority of them are by Moda, so to find out if we have a particular pre-cut, simply search the name of that specific Moda collection on our website.
Giraffes & Alpacas If you visit Miller's, you'll find that we have quite a few kits available. Due to limited quantities, most of our kits aren't featured online. However we have various quilt kits, table runner kits, &wall hanging kits; we even have kits for you to make your own soft & fuzzy giraffe or alpaca. The giraffes were made using our minkee/cuddle fabric while the alpaca/llama kits feature our llama llama cuddle fabric in either a rose or white color.
Kit Prices: $12.98 Stuffing & Pattern sold separately.
FEATURED ONLINE ITEM OF THE MONTH
We're switching things up a little bit this month and featuring a quilt kit as our online item of the month!
A charming throw size quilt with a 3D effect! A darker "shadow" fabric on the side of each block creates the illusion that the mini squares are 3 dimensional. We've made one here at the store, using small animal prints within the squares to make a kid/baby quilt. Finished size 51" x 59".
Let Eleanor Burns take you on a quilting journey that is out of this world with her Milky Way Quilt Pattern. A combination of Four-Patches & Pieced Squares, this quilt can be made using only 3 different colors of fabric or you can intentionally make it scrappy if you'd rather. Finished size: 42" x 54".
The Midi Bag is the smaller relative of the Mondo Bag from Quiltsmart. It's easy to sew & easy to personalize. Simply fuse 2 1/2" squares to the already lined interfacing & stitch on the lines. It's a great way to use up scraps or it also works well with jelly rolls, charm packs, and fat quarters.
Bless your niece, nephew, or grandchild this holiday season with a handmade baby raggy quilt. With this particular pattern, you'll be creating the traditional log cabin design, but in raggy form! Don't forget to grab a pair of ourraggy clippers while you're at it; they make snipping a raggy quilt a breeze!
These next two patterns are actually free downloads that we found and wanted to pass on to you. They're both from Tula Pink and go hand and hand with her new Zuma collection. This particular one is an anchor constructed of smaller squares.
Another free download, this pattern will have you dreaming of laying on the beach and listening to the waves. It includes both paper piecing and traditional piecing techniques to give it a colorful wavy effect. Check it out and be sure to check out Tula's new Zuma collection, as well! It's featured further on in this newsletter.

By the ever popular Tula Pink- Zuma celebrates life under the sea (cue the little mermaid song and the singing crab) Whales, unicorn seahorses, sting-rays, and jellyfish are swimming through this collection. And of course, in typical Tula Pink style there's plenty of color to go around!
From the designers that brought you Farmhouse Reds, comes another stunning collection. Minick & Simpson's new collection has a patriotic flare with it's red and blue color scheme. Prints include smaller florals, along with sprigs and thorns.
Coledale from Moda

Please give us a call (330.893.9899) if you'd like us to ship it to you.
Twilight from Moda
It's what you would imagine twilight to look like in fabric form. Moths and lightning bugs are fluttering about while the sky is painted in colors of pastel blue, purple, mint, and peach with a hint of the dark navy night sky peeping through. One Canoe Two has outdone themselves with this collection that would make an adorable baby quilt for a little girl. NOTE: This collection is not available online at this time. Please give us a call (330.893.9899) if you'd like us to ship it to you.

Sometimes the simplest tools can be the best tools, like these quarter inch marking rulers. Half square triangles are an essential building block for many quilts and these rulers will help you easily mark the 1/4 in sewing lines that you'll need when constructing them. Basic, yet very effective and will save you time.
Another simple, but very useful tool- a ring to hold all of your rulers! It's convenient hook allows you to hang them in your closet, on the back of a door, or on a doorknob. It also makes it easy to transport your rulers when going to a quilt retreat. Be the Queen of rulers with this Rule Your Rulers tool!
Let it sno, let it sno, let it sno. Designer Wenche Wolff Hatling graces us with a collection full of cute, festive designs featuring reindeer, snowflakes, Christmas words, and even a few Christmas-y mice. Hatling says "Sno captures Scandinavian winter-themed fabrics in traditional holiday red, with stylish grey and black, combined with classic pure white."
Golds, grays, and glamour galore. You'll definitely be humming along to "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" if you're sewing with this collection. Tiny Christmas trees, mistletoe, twinkling stars, Christmas-y words, and Christmas leaves can all be found within the prints of this collection. Zen Chic kept to neutrals with her black, grey, white, gold, stone & silver color scheme.
Continuing with the neutral theme...some things are better in black and white...(and maybe a bit of gray and metallic); this collection is proof of that. The metallic accents in some of the fabrics add just the right amount of shine, while both bold and subtle floral prints give the designs an elegant flare.
Roses are red. Violets are blue. Here's a collection picked just for you. While these particular prints also exhibit a lot of gray, white, and black like the last two collections, they also contain a pop of color. Soft yellows and rosy reds give life to the floral prints while green stems and leaves add even more color to the mix.
If you were waiting for a collection with lots of color...here it is! Bright blues, reds, yellows, and greens can all be found in our new 30's style prints. If you love quilts with a scrappy look-try out 30's prints because they tend to have a scrappy vibe about them, and these particular prints are no exception.
~Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue~ Maybe this collection is your "something blue" for an upcoming wedding or maybe you just really love the color blue-whatever the reason may be, this collection from Laundry Basket Quilts is definitely one to check out.
Enchanting and elegant (much like the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex) with its colors of rose, wine, and dark gray, Sussex designed by Nancy Gere is sure to be a hit! It contains both small and large floral prints, along with arrows and small squiggle prints. You'll be dreaming of England and royalty in no time with this collection!
We're adding even more 30's prints to our collection, like these prints designed by Kathy Hall. As was mentioned earlier, 30's prints are great for making scrappy quilts. If you like the colors and style of these prints, be sure to checkout the rest of our30's print online. You may also want to take a look at thisNine-Patch Baby Quilt Pattern; the pattern and 30's prints are a match made in quilt heaven.
Okay, so Moda's Grunge isn't exactly a new concept here at Miller's Dry Goods. We've had them for a while now, but we are continuing to add to our collection. So we wanted to take this opportunity to remind you that a) hey, they're still here and b) they are perfect fillers/accent fabrics to add to your quilt. Grunge gives your quilt an added bit of texture, without being too busy or distracting. Sidenote: we are going to slowly start transitioning our Moda Marbles out of the store and will be bringing more Grunge in. It will be a slow transition(they won't disappear overnight)-but we wanted to give you a heads up, just in case you want to grab any of your favorite Marbles before they're gone.
This next collection from Marcus Brothers is a beauty. It's fancy flowered designs sing of spring & summer while paisley prints and wave designs also make an appearance. Soft reds, peachy pinks, steel blues, along with sage/olive greens are all used to color this collection.
Annnddd we're back to Christmas & Winter and a very cute one at that. Janet Claire's Wintertide collection comes fully equipped with tiny evergreens, snowed-in homes, and friendly penguins to melt your heart. Navy, red, and green colors solidify its Christmas-y feel.
Well folks, June is already here and that means we're almost halfway through 2018 AND the first day of summer is in just 21 days! How crazy is that?! Can't you just smell the fresh cut grass, the smell of BBQ wafting from the grill while your ears ring with the sound of children's laughter as they play in the pool. Whatever your summer plans may entail, we hope that it's your best summer yet AND that you find some time to sew & quilt while you're at it.
This month we're featuring a pattern from Libs Elliott. It's called the Easy Like Sunday Morning Baby Quilt-the perfect pattern for when you've waited till the last minute to get a baby gift, but you still want to give something special and handmade. We put our own little twist on the pattern and made it out of ourEmbrace Double Gauzegiving it a light, yet soft feel. We used the big-stitch technique for quilting, which helped our project move along even more quickly.

If you're always on the go and can't have a heavy purse weighing you down- we think we may have found the perfect pattern for you! The Go-Go Compact Bag includes 2 magnetically snapped exterior pockets (for your keys, camera, glasses, etc.), a hidden pocket in the center of the purse for your smart phone and a full size, zippered interior wallet for your cash, cards, and change.
Invite cute forest animals into your kitchen with these yo-yo designs from Marcia Layton. The pattern includes instructions for a brawny bear, an outstanding owl, a delightful deer, a fantastic fox, a friendly frog, and a sprightly squirrel. Any of these designs will add some fun to drab kitchen towels.
This pattern is star-ific! It pairs perfectly with our new Ombre Confetti collection (featured later on in this newsletter) Using her 60 degree diamond ruler, Krista Moser has created a pattern that gives the appearance of stars clustered together with the tips of the stars being light in color and then fading into darker centers.
Speaking of the 60 degree diamond ruler- here it is. It's a necessary tool for the Ombre Blossoms pattern but this 16.5" ruler can also be used in other projects for cutting: triangles, hexagons, parallelograms, trapezoids, and side setting triangles.
Bargello quilts appear to be only for advanced quilters-but their looks are deceiving. In reality, these quilts really involve lots and lots of strip piecing, making them quite practical for beginners. This particular pattern was made using the Jacqueline collectionfrom Quilting Treasures. Finished size is 95" x 107".
We have a notion that you'll like this notion. Use the Violet Craft Seam Roller to press your seams rather than with an iron. It's equipped with a rounded wooden barrel that applies pressure to the seam for a crisp press. It's perfect for foundation paper piecing and for your next quilt retreat.
From Lazy Girl Designs, the Banana Bag is ideal for holding your scissors, pencils, marking pens, sunglasses, etc. They require 10" squares, therefore layer cakes come in handy for this project. You can make a lot of Banana Bags with just one layer cake...which is great, because once you make one you'll want to make more! Finished size: 4" x 9" .
An organizer for your rulers and cutting mat that makes them easily transportable and keeps them all in one spot- doesn't that sound wonderful? It can be yours when you make the Ruler Wrap. This organizer has enough room to hold your 18 x 24 cutting mat, rulers, plus other notions as well. Store it, unfolded, on the back of a door or fold it and use the adjustable, padded strap to carry it when you're on the go.
A portable, foldable iron pad is a great alternative to an ironing board when you're traveling. It takes up very little space, so it's easy to pack and it can be set up anywhere-on a counter, table, or even the floor. For smaller projects the trendy 10" x 14" pads work perfectly, or we also have a larger 17" x 25" pad that comes in a basic gray color. Both sizes are non-slip due to their 100% silicone back.
Jo Morton is all about making your scrappy quilt dreams come true. In her latest collection, she's gifting you with beautiful background style fabrics. She says "From tiny starbursts to petite tulips, thin stripes to tossed buds, I know
you will love adding these prints to your scrappy projects."
Glitz, glam, and all that jazz. Featuring a rainbow of colors, this collection is here to add that little bit of sparkle that we all need in our lives. The ombre effect happens over the width of each fabric (the edges of the fabric are dark and fade to light in the middle) while confetti dots fall from each edge.
A cute, vintage style holiday collection designed by Cartabella, Christmas Delivery features buffalo check plaids, tree-hauling trucks, and winter-y floral designs. Keeping with its classic design, the traditional Christmas colors of green and red are prominent in this collection.
A mini, but stunning collection-Let it Sparkle is ringing in the holidays with prints featuring pine cones, berries, eucalyptus, amaryllises and poinsettias. If you're looking for a good addition to your next Christmas project, make sure to check out this collection.
Pretty in purple, Jacqueline exhibits elegance with a touch of whimsy. Featuring branch designs, along with large florals, leaves, and swirls-this collection represents spring but in cool tones as opposed to the warm tones typically found in spring collections. Use them to make the Jacqueline Bargello Quilt featured earlier in this newsletter.
A jolly good collection is coming to town...or rather it's already arrived. A winking Santa Clause invites you to have a Swell Christmas with candy canes and holly plus green & red plaid and red geometric design. A mini collection, but oh so cute!
Let this collection carry you back to those old fashioned Christmases celebrated with family and friends. Olive/sage greens, crimson reds, neutrals, and browns color Holly Taylor's new collection. Designs include: pine leaves, paisley prints, berries, and snowflakes.
In explaining her inspiration for her new collection, Debbie Maddie says " Yuki means “snow” in Japanese and this collection is my interpretation of icicles, frost in the air and snowflakes, from those tiny wisps to the large flakes that fall like feathers." Consisting mainly of various shades of blue and white, some of the designs appear to have a "tie-dye look" to them, while others have smaller bursts of white on a blue background.

Wishing our fellow quilt lovers a happy May, as well as a happy spring! We hope everyone who went to the Sewing & Quilt Expo last month enjoyed themselves. It was great to see so many familiar and new faces stop by our booth and check out our Raggy Clipper Demo. We just want you to know that we shear-iously* appreciate our loyal customers. You all are sew* awesome! *Disclaimer: We had a little fun looking up quilting puns (or just puns in general) this month so don't be surprised if you see some scattered throughout this newsletter.
Now as most of you are aware, we as quilter's need to think ahead because many projects take more than just a day to finish. With that being said-if you're looking for something to use during your 4th of July festivities, we've got something new to show you (some of you may have already seen it on Facebook). It's our new Flag Quilt pattern designed by Rachelle right here at our store. Patriotic and majestic- this quilt uses fabrics from the Defenders of Freedom Collection from Paintbrush Studios, as well as aMarble and Bella Solid from Moda. For a fun twist, Rachelle used cuddle fabric for the backing of our quilt-making it even more versatile; it can be draped over your couch during the summer to add that patriotic touch to your home and you can snuggle underneath it when the cold winter weather sets in.
Kits and patternsare available now online and in the store. The kit includes everything you need to make the quilt top and the binding. Batting and backing are sold separately. And you wanna know the best part? The pieces for the quilt top are all pre-cut...so all you have to do is sew them together! No, we're not "kitting"- you don't have to worry about cutting out your pieces! However, we only have a limited number of kits available- so if you're interested, I'd suggest getting it now rather than later. Once they're sold, they're sold.
FEATURED ONLINE ITEM OF THE MONTH Of course we can't forget about our Featured Online Item of the Month. Pssstttt....If you're as "stuck" as we are on the background fabric in this picture, we've got you covered. We wouldn't want to be "pricks" and keep it a secret. It's embrace double gauze and can be found on our website if you click here.
A Note About our Online Shipping Prices
In our ongoing effort to better your online shopping experience with us, we are revamping our shipping prices on the website so that hopefully they are a little more reasonable. We will also now be offering free shipping for orders of $80 or more instead of $100. We hope this makes shopping online a little more convenient for our loyal customers!
If your project requires your cutting to be precise, then this precision rotary cutter is precisely what you need! It's miniature in size (we're talking a 14mm blade) with a Kushgrip handle and is functional for both righties and lefties. The blades of the cutter are simple to change and the safety cap makes it easily storable and transportable.
We're pretty im"press"ed with this next notion- a totable cutting and pressing station! A must have for your next quilt retreat or small piecing project...this dual purpose notion comes in what appears to be a binder or notebook. When you open it up you'll find a mini cutting mat on one side and a place to press your fabric on the other. It pairs well with our Steamfast Mini Travel Iron!
Continuing with the trend of "easily transportable notions" -here's another handy item for you to add to your collection. A fold-able yardstick-simple, but genius. You get the functionality of a yardstick, with the storage capabilities of an 18" ruler. They don't just rock, they rule!
The second installment of the Happy Quilter puzzle books is here. This edition not only has word searches, but also includes: logic puzzles, criss crosses, word mines, Word Roundups, crossword puzzles, and word scrambles. The best part? It's all quilt-themed!
Where are our Jo Morton fans at? Get ready for the new flood of ideas coming your way! Jo's giving you a small peak into how she displays her little quilts in her own house. She's equipping you with 16 little quilt designs that were originally only available to her club members. Know the great thing about little quilts? The smaller they are, the more you can fit in your home!
Cross my heart....you're going to want to check out this new cork bag. This crossbody bag pattern was designed with cork in mind. Try it with the regular cork fabric or branch out and use colored cork! Hint: we have cork available here at the shop-but you'll need to stop in or call us to purchase it. Bag comes in 3 sizes: 4.5" x 6.25", 5.5" x 7.25" & 6.5" x 8.25" .
Let's talk organization.Shell we? We think this over-the-edge pocket would do just swimmingly in your sewing room. Use it to store small spools of thread, bobbins, or embroidery scissors; it would even make a great thread catcher! A detachable turtle pincushion sits on top to keep you company while you work.
Fa la la la la and sew on and sew forth. Yeah, we know it's a little early for Christmas but we think you'll love this pattern anyway! This 51" square wall hanging pattern, from Coach House Designs, will add a warm and cozy element to any home. The fabrics featured on the front page of the pattern are from Deb Strain's Hearthside Holiday collection (estimated to ship to our store in June and will be featured our the July newsletter).
We think you'll "fall" in love with the wall hanging and pillow pattern from Carried Away Quilting. The pumpkins can be designed using fat quarters in your favorite shades of orange. Make both projects for the perfect little duo that will add the perfect touch of autumn to your home. Finished wall hanging size: 38.5" x 25.5". Finished Pillow Size: 18.5" x 18.5".
Create your very own little travel case using this pattern from P3 Designs. It allows you to keep all your little notions (like marking pens, small rulers, rotary cutters, embroidery scissors, etc.) in one place when you travel. Choose 3 of your favorite fat quarters and get to sewing!
Write a sweet little note to your friends or invite them to a fun-filled summertime bash with these cute camper cards from Amy Bradley Designs. Each packet includes 8 different camper designs and 8 blue envelopes. For a little added flare the pictures on the front of the cards are made to look like they've been quilted.
The Slice safety cutter is a handy dandy little gadget that can be used for scrapbooking, cutting coupons,or cutting out recipes. It easily slices through those pesky, plastic hard-to-open packages. The blade is tiny and ceramic so it won't rust like a metal blade will!
This notion is something you truly must have. The non-slip adhesive rings can be attached to the back of any ruler to keep it from slipping while you're trying to accurately cut your fabric. They're ultra thin and clear so they won't raise your ruler off the cutting surface and you can still see your fabric through the grips.
Beep, Beep! Make way for Lydia Nelson's collection celebrating things that go "brrm, brrm". It's full of fun prints like airplane propellers, trucks, cars, tire tracks, airplanes, parachutes, and even an old fashioned service station. The color scheme is primarily reds, blues, grays, and creams.
We're adding a few more homespun fabrics to our collection with these new prints from the Homespun Gatherings collection by Primitive Gatherings. If your unfamiliar with homespun fabrics check out our website for a little more information, or if you're visiting our store take a stroll through our Quilt Barn and see our homespun collection for yourself.
It's as if Corey Yoder took a large ray of sunshine and bundled it up into a neat little collection just for you! Golden yellows (and just a smidge of green) burst out among the grays to wave hello to you and spring. And did we mention florals? Lots and lots of florals...Daisies, Tulips, and Queen Anne's lace to be exact.
The birds are singing their approval of this next collection. Designed by Lella Boutique, from the colors to the designs- these prints radiate spring. If the bright colors of green, coral-pinks, and robin egg blue don't cure your winter blues than the large florals and nesting bird designs should do the trick.
We're taking a small break from the spring collections to bring you this next collection from Bonnie and Camille. Break out the wrapping paper and start singing Deck the Halls because it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Ornaments, snowflakes, tiny Christmas trees, ribbon bows, and poinsettias are all featured in this bright and cheery collection featuring reds, pinks, light blues, and bright greens.
In his debut collection for Moda, Christopher Wilson Tate presents the color blue in a sophisticated and classic way. Tate says "[t]he prints are drawn from quilts originating in the North East of England, and the prints have been named for some of the beautiful places there – Berwick, Lindisfarne and Chipchase." If these are any indication of what England is like, then I'm thinking I should definitely go visit!
Continuing on with our blue theme- we've got another new Moda designer to introduce- Linzee Kull McCray. With a variety of prints ranging from large to small florals to plaid to geometric designs, this collection takes on a scrappy look. Of course the main color is obviously blue, however reds, yellows, and greens are expertly woven throughout to make for an eye-catching collection.
Like a well written speech-this collection will leave you inspired and motivated (motivated to quilt that is). From Sandy Gervais, Well Said is a collection filled with happy, budding prints in springtime oranges, lime greens, teals, blues, and sunshine yellows. It also features a panel with quotes like "Kindness changes everything" and "Life is art, live yours in color"...in other words-the type of quotes that will have you saying, "wow, that was well said."
Looking for a quirky, colorful collection? No probllama, we've got you covered! You can't help but smile when you see this collection- even the name of it is fun to say! Featuring llamas in a variety of colors and outfits plus paisley prints and balls of yarn- these prints definitely make a statement.
Imagine walking through your garden at midnight as the bright hues of the flowers stand out against the black night sky...and that's what this collection seems to portray. Vibrant magenta-reds, purple/plum, aqua and teal make up the weave and textured prints while other prints include large florals against a black background as well as two floral border prints.
Help! We've come down with some kind of bug.....a quilting bug that is! Perhaps buying this collection will be the antidote we need. With cute prints featuring stethoscopes, heartbeats, blood pressure machines, and nursing quotes...it may very well be we've found the cure.
A collection full of rainbows and unicorns is every little girl's dream coming to life right before their eyes. It features unicorn silhouettes set against a rainbow background, rainbow stars, rainbow unicorns, unicorn quotes, and a panel that reminds you to "Always be yourself...unless you can be a unicorn".

We've just finished adding our embroidery products to the website. There are various embroidery blocks, quilt tops, and books available, as well as embroidery floss. Head on over to our website and check them out!
New to our collection of embroidery items are these 4 little patterns from Lova Revolutionary. These designs look great when framed in a hoop and hung for decoration or they can also be incorporated into a pillow or quilt blocks. The patterns can be transferred using transfer paper or you can also try using Transfer-Eze .
Another one of our new embroidery products is this new book by Lark Crafts, containing 25 iron-on mandala patterns for you to try. Easily transfer any of these designs to your fabric of choice, put it in a hoop, pick out your thread colors, and get started! You've got hours of relaxing embroidery right at your fingertips!
The magical quality of these "magic" pins is that they are resistant to the heat of your iron. Comfort grip handles make it easy to slide the pins out when you're finished, then store them in their designer case for safe keeping.
New in our store are 3 patterns by Krista Moser. This particular one puts a fun twist on the popular chevron pattern. Modern and scrappy, this strip-pieced quilt is sure to be a hit for those of you wanting to add a little more sparkle and edge to your quilts.
Finished size: 72" x 90" Tip: You'll want a 60 degree triangle ruler for this project.
The second pattern from Krista Moser is called Champagne and Pearls. The basis of it is triangles and diamonds, which will in turn create your hexagons and stars. Make it as scrappy or as classic as you'd like-it's completely up to you. As with the chevron pattern, this quilt also has jagged edges giving it a modern flare. Finished size: 60" x 83".
Our final pattern from Krista would look beautiful draped over your couch or chair. Keep it neutral with blacks and grays (as seen in the picture above) or maybe use red, whites, and blues for a patriotic 4th of July quilt. For best results use a 60 degree diamond ruler, or you may also use a rectangular ruler with a 60 degree line. Finished size: 72" x 83"
Camping season is almost here and here's the perfect quilt to celebrate. Beginner friendly, this standard pieced quilt is made up of 18 tree blocks and 1 cute camper block in the bottom right hand corner. So grab your camping chairs, eat some S'mores, and get to work on this quilt! Finished size: 59.5" x 68.75"
