December 2021 Newsletter
Hello and good morning! Are you enjoying the weather? It's the perfect temp to wear a nice cozy sweater. Our December newsletter is special, a Christmas edition. Yes, it's the one where I rhyme; it's become a tradition.
What Christmas themed projects do we have in the store? We're so glad you asked...let us tell you more.
Embroidery is a fun way to pass the time (especially during the cold winter months), and with this pattern you can embroider a cute little design for each of the seasons. Use these designs to spruce up a kitchen towel, or hang it up while it’s still in the frame as cute wall décor.
Make adorable Christmas ornaments using these programs for your embroidery machine. All the designs fit within a 4 x 4 embroidery machine hoop. There are 12 designs on each disk. Formats include: ART, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX.
Meet Corey and Digby! These smiling gnomes are here to hold your hot dishes or mugs; use them as pot holders, mug mats or trivets. While there are only two different styles (Corey or Digby), you can give each one a different hat and/or beard color to give you lots of variety!
This quilt may look a bit trippy and tricky, however it's actually made using panels. It's not as complicated as it appears. You can make a wall size (32"x 54") to hang in your home or you make a throw size (64"x72") if you want it a bit larger.
A floral delight, this pattern makes the Floral Fasination line of fabrics from QT Fabrics come to life. We will have a select number of kits available for this pattern in-store (but not online, sorry!)
Next up, we have 4 new precut applique designs. These are really easy to use and a great addition to kitchen towels or pillows or mug rugs. We have two new red truck designs available, along with two new gnomes, one for December and one for January.
Add this primitive farmhouse style table runner to your Christmas decor. Use toweling as your base and add the appliqued elements on top. Top it off with some darling jingle bells to complete the look.
This is such a great tool to carry in your purse and to have in your sewing room! Sometimes the mathematical side of quilting gets tricky, like when you have to figure out how much backing you need. This little card gives you amounts needed for your average sizes, a formula to figure backing yardage for a specific size, and fun layout options for backing that you might never have thought of!
Holly Taylor's new line is a mixture of chocolatey browns, dusty blues, and light grays. This color pallette is unique from previous collections- so just as seasons change, so can Holly Taylor's color schemes.
The ever popular Tula Pink is here towowyou with another colorful collection. If you took a look inside the mind of a daydreamer, here are things you might find- beautiful butterflies, pretty flamingos, multi-colored jaguars, little rainbows, and maybe even some crazy, colorful fruit.
When you start creating, you sometimes don't know what the end result will be, but the process is lots of fun. Bright and bold prints, like the ones in this collection, add interest and variety to a project.
Home is the place you want to be for the holidays and this collection is giving you all those cozy, classic, at home Christmas vibes. With little red and white trucks, poinsettias, boots and mittens, and all things plaid, when it comes to Christmas collections, this one is hard to beat.
If you could write a love note with fabric, then this collection would help you do just that. Sweet pink roses, along other dainty flowers make for some darling prints, that would be precious in a baby quilt.
We've passed Halloween this year, but you can always start planning for next year! This collection has a good variety of prints, and many of them, like the polka dots and gingham, could be used for other types of projects, too.
Who knew that nighttime could be so adorable? The forest comes alive after the sun goes down, and this collection showcases some of the furry little faces you might see after dark, along with constellations and beautiful wildflowers.
Appropriately named, these prints do sparkle, shine, and glitter, making them perfect for Christmas time. There's a lot of pretty poinsettias, holly leaves and pine, and everyone's favorite winter bird, the cardinal.
Explore the great outdoors with this adventurous collection from Sweetwater. It features the names of various national parks and scenic places that you might want to add to your bucket list, along with some cute little tents pitched under the stars.
